These terms govern your use of the NetOS mobile app, provided by Coderilla GmbH. They are intentionally brief; your download and any purchases are additionally governed by the Apple and Google store terms described in section 8.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing or using NetOS, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. What NetOS is — and is not

NetOS is a network monitoring and logging tool for inspecting the Wi-Fi networks, local-network hosts, open ports and Bluetooth Low Energy devices around you, and for logging what you find on your device.

NetOS is not an attack tool. It does not perform deauthentication, packet injection, handshake capture, or password cracking, and it only probes the local network your device is already connected to. It is not designed for, and must not be used for, unauthorized access to systems or networks.

3. Acceptable use

You agree that you will:

• only scan, probe, or send requests to networks and devices you own or are explicitly authorized to test;
• comply with all laws and regulations that apply to you, including computer-misuse and data-protection laws in your jurisdiction;
• not use NetOS to gain unauthorized access to, disrupt, or interfere with any system, network, or device.

You are solely responsible for how you use the app and for the requests you choose to send with it. Port-scanning or probing networks you do not own or are not authorized to test may be unlawful in your jurisdiction.

4. License

Subject to these terms, Coderilla GmbH grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use NetOS for your own lawful purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except as permitted by applicable law or the store terms under which you obtained it.

5. Simulation and platform limitations

Some platforms restrict what an app may access. For example, iOS does not allow third-party apps to scan for nearby Wi-Fi networks, so certain features may operate in a simulation/demo mode or with reduced capability on some devices. Data shown in such modes may be simulated and should not be relied upon as an accurate measurement of your surroundings.

6. No warranty; limitation of liability

NetOS is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that scan results are complete or accurate.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Coderilla GmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under mandatory law (for example, liability for intent or gross negligence, or under the German Product Liability Act).

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date reflects the current version. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Store terms and governing law

Your download, installation and any in-app purchases are additionally subject to the terms of the platform you obtained the app from — the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions or the Google Play Terms of Service. These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, and without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence.
